Partly cloudy, between the wind and the pollen my eyes are on fire.
We weren't able to get to the lake until around 11:00 am.
My fishing buddy got to go today. I am pleased we caught some fish even though none were big.
I had intented for her to catch all of the fish today, but she wouldn't take the rod from me on a couple.
She hung into a fish that I was sure was going to be a whopper, played that thing I know for five minutes or better. Turned out to be foul hooked in the side. Boy did she struggle with it.
Caught a couple of nice crappie with the net mixed in the bait. Of course they were released.
She also hooked into a fair green fish.
Biggest striper of the day almost made 32".
We had a couple of pulled hooks and a few missed hook sets.
It was an pleasant trip, striper fishing is soooo much fun.
