Finally escaped the frozen world of Bath and headed south to RR. Enyoyed the AT of mid 70s and partly cloudy skies. WTs of low 50s. Bait was thick until cast nets broke up the party with most gizs around 9 inches. Fish were on surface at daybreak, and several caught on pbs mid channel all 28/29 inches. Late eve bights using soft swim baits in the heavy structure worked well range 20 to 29 inches. Some surface feeding action at daybreak but no takers. Only marked small groups of stripers more singles marked. Overall was a good few days of true spring weather, fishing, and running the boat with family and friends!
