Headed up Friday evening to fish with my buddy Doug and his friend Tim.
Got to the lake around 7 pm ready to catch bait. Stepped out of the car and immediately realized that was not gonna happen due to the hurricane force winds so I resigned myself to catching bait in the morning.
Woke up early Saturday morning and headed out to catch bait. Found a few scattered in the back of a nearby creek and by about 7 am we were pulling boards and by 7:10 we had Time on his new PB striper at 34.5 inches.
Continued fishingoff and on the rest of the day and ended up with 6 stripers in the boat with that 34.5 being the largest.
Sunday morning we started in the same area and quickly got a nice 30 inch fish in the boat and had a ton of other action but the fish just would not commit. Lots of chases and pull down until about 11:00 when we stumbled across a group of fish and we put 4 more fish in the boat in 20 minutes and had to stop at that point.
Beautiful weekend....water temps were mid 50s...sunny Saturday and mostly cloudy Sunday. Only ran across one other boat fishing by us all weekend which was very nice.

I had that Sat afternoon also. Lots of chasing and pull back on the bait with no hooking up. I still have stingers rigged up on everything from the tournament and they still won't connecting. Stingers did hook 2 though.
