I decided to go fishing with BentRod on Thursday on the Early Riser. After a morning filled with fixing fuel lines and bilge pumps, we finally started throwing around noon. NOTE: Gasoline is much more slippery than ice on boat bottoms. After catching a decent tank of bait (Max 13" but more money makers than I like), we got the poles in by 1pm or so. In short, it was an excellent afternoon bite but the evening bite lacked. During the afternoon, we caught 3 citations, all measuring 37 to 37.5 inches and weighing 20-22 pounds. The highlight of the afternoon was catching 2 hogs at once. What a treat this was for Mr. Rod and I as we struggled to get pictures of the two fish and manage the spread, while at the same time, being blown to the end of a creek. Thankfully, all fish swam away healthy! Here are a few pictures! Thank you Mr. Rod for a great adventure!
