i've tried there a couple times with no luck, all depends on if i can get my uncle to take his boat out lol. i'll keep trying though when the opportunities arise, thanks. Understood...I just posted in another thread..if fishing down by the dam for smallies and LMB I quickly learned that fluorocarbon is your friend. You have to be careful with the rocks of course but after switching from standard mono my catch rate doubled...the water tends to be super clear down that way. funny, cant remember what brand it was, but the first time i splurged for and bought FC line i was fishing with it a the lake. was pulling largemouth off a tree down within casting distance of the dock. always heard it was invisible underwater, atleast harder for the fish to see. bluegill kept attacking and biting my FC line the whole weekend. the bass didnt mind it though, caught several off that tree that weekend...the bluegill have never attacked my mono...
