Thick fog this morning! Water temp 72.5 . Caught a two pounder before getting the spread out. Within ten minutes I was hooked up with a 31" striper. Swallowed the circle hook, so I kept him for the table. Shortly after getting that line back out a 35" striper nailed the other inside board. Released that one healthy, hooked in the side of the face. Using 4- 6" alewives.

Good Stuff. Sounds like you battled the same Fog i did Sunday morning.
One question i have is, were you fishing Gizzard and Ales and all the fish came on ales? or were you only pulling ales?
I'm just trying to comprehend my almost skunk this past weekend.
Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I'm just trying to comprehend my almost skunk this past weekend. Any info would be greatly appreciated! I was only using ales. That is mostly all I am finding lately. There are plenty of them in the back of the creeks, although it's been tough to find the bigger ones. My fish lately have come off the main lake points, closer to deep water as opposed to the shallow side.
