Basically a repeat of my last trip. Bait is easily caught. Surface temperature is 73 degrees. Finding fish in what I thought would be catchable depths on points and open channels. Varied depths behind planer boards. Experimented with weights on the lines, varied trolling speeds, varied bait size. I’m going to have to invest in a 55 gallon drum of peroxide to wash the skunk off of my rig. Lol. Honestly, I’m at a total loss at this point. Thinking of trying Leesville this coming week. On a positive note, the lake is beautiful with the turning leaves. I met some nice people and shared bait with them and let them borrow some planer boards today. Always nice making new friends at the lake.

thanks for the report - I've found early Oct to be challenging at times with things in transition - the up and down weather can't help either. I'm looking forward to a few weeks when things should finally start to cool for good.

I was on leesville the past 2 weekends and it sucked there as well. I think the storm fronts we've had and the full moon really turned the fishing off. We were burning them up before this but the last 3 trips have sucked @$$.
