I decided to take the advice that Bob King always gave....when there is moonlight at night, sleep in, have breakfast, then go fishing. I also decided to stay close to home.
Left the dock at 07:30, boated three nice (27 - 29") fish by 08:15. These fish were hanging out near the mouth of Craddock. I saw a few other boats in the area and did see fish caught. I threw my striper strike into what I thought was a small school of breaking stripers and hooked a nice largemouth.
It was a fun morning and the lake was beautiful. Gotta feel blessed to be here in this place.

Awesome report! Glad to hear you caught some! Yes, I needed to get some fish. We lived on the lake for 20 years but have moved back home to Richmond to be closer to family. I always wonder if I need to keep this lake house so I can do some fishing. It is days like today that confirm I should hang onto it a bit longer. The fishing isn't what it used to be (boy it was great before the big kill in 2006 - 07?) but it is still fun to hear that bait clicker talk. We will be here until June 18 so I still got time.
