Started about 6pm fishing flukes and shallow plugs from B34 to G1...not a bite. We're not familiar with the BW side, but there appears to be tons of great points. Got rained out. Had one smash a top water thunderstick about 11:30, up around B34. Caught a nice flathead on a fluke on really shallow point. I think we could have done really well without the rain.

Thanks for the report! I am trying to get there tomorrow for a week of camping and fishing. When I was leaving last night, a trailer bearing started seizing up. Hope to replace both sides in the morning and travel that way. Not excited about the rain for camping or fishing. Lol

It is a lot t of good points through that area. If you find the ones that get right into deeper water , you'll likely find some fish. I typically find a point I like and anchor down until the fish show up.

Thanks for the report . I need to get up to the lake for night trip myself. But those really take a toll on me, and it takes two days after to get over it. We fried up some flathead a few days ago salt and pepper style what a meal.
