AT 52-79 WT 58-64 North winds 5-10 mph The pollen was thick on the water and in the air. It looked like fine snow falling in the beam of my flashlight. Fished freeline and light line planers and floats using 7-8" gizzards. The bite was slow as I expected due to the full moon. Had a goose follow my boards for a half mile or so. The fishing was slow, but I managed a couple. One fish got excited to be on board and lost it. Missed a few bites and even pulled a few scales out of one. Tried a new spot for a couple of hours and got one fish there. Called it a day early.

Good report!
I tagged along with a couple guys yesterday on the dark side after lunch till dark and it was slow as well. Marked lots of fish but little action. Boated two, a 26" or so, and a 35.75" on 6-7" gizzards. No geese bothering us but saw an osprey that had already nabbed a nice gizzard.
