4/8 Went out on Saturday around lunchtime to catch bait, water temp's were down around 52 degrees from the cold front and the cold mornings, the bait was fairly easy to catch but nothing real big. I was taking a friend who had never caught a Striper so he didn't care what size! We pulled freelines out the back which have been producing (hence the word have lol) and bankside boards, very minimal action, although it picked up when we hit a deep stretch of water and had to big blowups, finally at dark we hooked up on a nice 30" fish for his first! 4/9 I still had bait left over from Saturday so I decided to wing it solo, and do some scouting! Water temp's were 51-52, I guess between the full moon and the cold front and cold mornings it killed the bite, for me atleast around 730-800 I missed one, and landed about an 23 inch fish! I continued until around lunch when I looked over and Boss gave me the look that it was time to go!
