They live in freshwater, so I would assume yes. Generally, they like high flow I think, so SML is not ideal body of water.
If you guys thought keeping gizzards was hard though, try a skipjack. You're lucky to get 6 to live in a 50gal tank for an hour.

We have found sugar wafers to be "the" bait. Strawberry flavor works the best...

As to what brand - well done things have to remain a secret. On trolling speed - up to 1.3 mph. Above that I recommend this....
