Hey guys. New to the board. I fished all day on Tuesday and caught 2. Found bait up in Gills creek piled up pretty good. Net full almost every throw, but most were little guys. Averaged maybe 3 or 4 good baits every toss. I've got a question on the alewives. Our dock off the main channel in black water and I had lights out all night and saw ZERO signs of life. What's the deal? Is it to early for the ales to come to the lights???

Welcome to the board and thanks for the report.
My lights on the main BW channel have not had much alewife activity lately. Seems like they are around for an hour or so during the night and you have to be in the right place at the right time so to speak.

I'm in a cove in craddock and we've had them at our light pretty regularly the three or four times I've been to the lake this winter. Mostly pretty small and they come and go but overall pretty easy to get.
