Met Ikmoon at the ramp. He can move pretty darn quick in that kayak. Before my boat was in the water and parked, he was on the far side by BayRock. Adjusted the new Humminbird (Thank you quackquackboom ) and headed toward the bridge. Threw on small schools with no luck. Finally decided to take KB and Yams advice and look in two feet of woter throwing and dragging net through the mud. Was able to muster up 10 or so big to large shad and one 10" Large Mouth. Ran into junkEE. Got more great advise. Started past tressle and had a run on a bank board, pulling drag. Lifted pole and it was gone. Had the floating free line get nailed, pulling drag . Lifted pole and it was gone. To cut to the chase, was fighting wind across from Moormans, bank board was screaming and hooked up. Five seconds later, down line screaming and crossed over boat. Was able to net first, then lip the second. All lines were tied in a bow. Both released. 27", 28". Didn't weigh, got them in the water. Went home Peace out.

One of those "anchor trolling motors" would be great when you have to cut and re-tie four lines in heavy wind.
