Got the boat in about 7:45, found bait pretty quickly in 15-25 feet of water, and picked up everything from mongos to dollar bills in a couple throws. Seemed like a big school of bait, with a huge variety of sizes. Ran down the lake to the back of a cove and got ready to start fishing. No planer boards....anywhere in the boat. They live in my boat, and never come out? Well apparently I left them in a bucket, that blew out of my boat on my last trip home from the lake. So if you were the lucky gentleman or lady that found a bucket or scattered group of boards on 122 or 460, enjoy!!! So this morning, upon realizing there were no boards in the boat, I loaded up and went to Franklin outdoors and picked up some new boards and were back on the lake by 11:00. Fished the backs of a couple creeks and had 3 knockdowns in about 15 feet of water but couldn't hook up. Moved to the main channel in the afternoon, and managed to boat 2 fish, one 26" and one 27". Also missed a couple slow pull downs as well. Beautiful day on the water. Temps mid 40s up to over 70 and water temps ranging from 48-50.
