Current depth of bait...give or take

Hey fellas, havent been out to catch bait since around Thanksgiving but this warm weather has me itchin. Big issue is bait has gotta be fairly shallow for me to catch out of the kayak, so just wondering if it can be found in that 10ft or less water at the moment? Probably better bet is afternoons Id think right? Thanks for the info fellas.

I caught bait the last two days in 2' of water and in 30+ feet of water
