Been going down and fishing around the docks this week swimbaits, buck tail with fluke ,had lots of wind but when it was at lowest I was out caught 4 Mon night from 12am til 2 biggest was 30",two came from in between docks slow rolling a mr wags.best part of the week was last night, I've set a light up on my dock and glass it often ,it had plenty of bait at it so my lil girl and I went down ,she was reeling a wags and right as she brought it up a nice strip turned away but she got so excited seeing that fish ,I grabbed my other rod with a buck tail fluke trailer dropped it down and bam he nailed it I set the hook and handed her the rod she couldn't believe the pull these guys have I had to assist Alil ,but the look on that 9yr old face was priceless once I helped her get it on the dock ,I told her now next time he is all yours ,also I live on the fourth floor and glass often two evenings out past the lighthouse birds put on a show they were dropping out the sky on a mission lasted a good lil bit,def not enough time for me to paddle to them ,they did the same thing the next day ,but not today ,they hang out on one of the floaters bout all day then head out at. Various times haven't seen any action out of them close yet but hope it does happen, went out tonight a lil and the bite was very weird they would just bump it and never get it this happened several times ,before I had to head up and meet santa. Merry Christmas everyone!!!
