I finally invested in a non home made bait tank. I bought a 30 gal Creek Bank tank and I want to install the Dannco Venturi before spring. I thought I would buy the LBRV 8 model but after looking at them on line I may go for the LRV 8 instead so I can use the Creek Bank nozzle to get the directional flow. Do you guys have a preference? I also wondered if there would be a benefit to leaving the Creek Bank venturi hooked up as well. Would having the Creek Bank and the Dannco in play induce more oxygen into the water? Thanks for any advice you may have. Hotdog.

The Creek Bank nozzle is not just a nozzle but also the Venturi so I don't how it would do to "double up" like that. The Venturi in the Creekbanks always seemed to do a good job - main issue I recall being discussed is sometimes a scale would get in it and mess up the airflow but it's easily enough cleaned.

I never felt the need for a dannco on my creekbanks. Their Venturi puts out more than enough air.

Thanks for the advice guys. I figured I'd install the Dannco when I found the airline nipple on the Creek Bank venturi was broken off, though it would be easy enough to repair. I started wondering if both venturies would be better. If O2 is good, maybe more O2 would be better, but I didn't know if the aerated water flowing from the Dannco would pick up more O2 from the Creek Bank venture. Thanks again for the response. Hotdog

If that nipple is busted, it might just be easier to epoxy over it and install a dannco. From what I remember, it doesn't seem like an easy fix.
