Hit the water at daylight Saturday morning. Wished I'd come out two hours earlier. I haven't set the new boat up to bait fish, so it was gonna be artificials only. Set right down in them and started hooking up immediately on plugs. Got a couple in the boat, lost a couple, and broke off one I could never slow down. There was never any surface activity. Forgive me for not getting specific on the area, but I was fishing someone else's gracious tip and feel like it's respectful to withhold. Water temp was 62. It was a beautiful morning with absolutely no one around except for one boat that came into the area to pull boards. Heard a lot of deer getting blasted!
