After this morning and the fog that seemed like it would never go away, that just led to a big ol Skunk, I couldn't help but to try for a quick trip up lake where I haven't been since Spring, bait was easy and quick to come by, one cast produced a huge net full of medium sized shad with several Mongos mixed in, so I headed down a bit, and ran into KB had a good conversation with him then decided to give it a shot for an hour or so, as I was headed down I seen numerous boats trolling, and made my decision to find a spot with no one around which down a bit I was able to do, I put out 3 freeline planers close to the bank and 2 floats out the back, I had a Mongo out on the last board about 6 feet from the bank, about 4:15 to my surprise it got crushed producing a nice 35" fish, after all the commotion and tangled lines I got straightened back out not 100 yards up same pole right on the bank took off again, which produced another nice 30 incher, it was my first fish I've landed on planer boards on my boat so feeling great I decided to call it a day and get some errands done!

Good looking net of bait. I had to work like a dog to find bait. Great job and nice fish!
