I left the dock about 4pm in search of bait. After a good hour and half I only found a couple dollars and put a half dozen mongo pnuts in the tank. Daylight was growing short without mongos to be found, so it was time to fish! Within a half hour of placing 3 bank side free line pbs, 1 big bobber and a river side pb, I took a pic with this fellow. Last time out the skunk jumped onboard and my knots were popping that sounded like sticks breaking. Since last outing I went back to school to learn about tying knots. Several teachers on the forum shared invaluable info with me. Well, i was given a pop quiz on knots shortly after the above pic was taken and I landed this pic on prime time! 35 inches! I passed the pop quiz! Now the big test will be at the fall brawl! Good luck to everyone planning to compete! It was about 8pm. I put the equipment up in search of big bait. I called it a night without any luck about 10pm. Wt 68-69 Thanks for helping me with the knots. I went with the palomar.

That's a nice fish to get the skunk stink off the boat. Glad you got the knot thing figured out.
