Went out of Hardy on my good friends boat at day break on Saturday 10/15. Lee (skiff2013) picked up one Mongo and plenty of money makers? at the three markers out of Bay Rock. Started pulling boards going toward large trussle on the steep left side. Guide services were thick pulling multiple boards. Boats were having problems getting through the maze of boards, so, we picked up and started pulling the opposite bank of Mormans. The first taker came before we could get the third board in the water, we didn't get a good hook set and proceed to continue with three boards on bank side, one float and two down lines. The next hook up came quick on the middle board board six feet from bank. Weighed at 7.6, no measurement. The next was center bank board, about five minutes after the first. Weighed 12.8, no measurement. We caught one more on the bank board about 20 minutes later. We pulled the clay bank with no luck, motored back around and pulled the bank again. Had another taker almost immediately. Moved down to Lynnville creek with no luck, tried the bank opposite Lynnville with no luck then headed back to Moormans. Pulled the Moorman side from just up from Mormans to trussel. Had one more taker with no hook up. Had a great time. Looks like the fall bite is ramping up. Peace out.......
