I'm having some friends come down and want to know where my best odds are to catch striper, also what lures I should use. Thanks.

For lure selection, check out the following link: smlfishingforums.proboards.com/thread/4909/artificial-lures-striped-bassIf your going to use artificials I think your best bet is to fish at night, after the lake calms down. This time of year I fish from around 10:00 PM to around 3:00-4:00 AM. I would work main channel, and creek channel points. There are lots of points, easy to find, and very easy to fish. Just move from one point to another, not spending too much time on any given point. Unless you hear them come up shallow somewhere, your going to need to hunt them down. It's just a matter of a lot of chunking and winding, trying to run across some. I reckon thats why they call it fishin'

Sounds like your best bet is to pull umbrella rigs
