I caught a net full of 8 inch shad at the dock light at dawn. Rowed out about 6:00. 2 planers, a float and a down line, 1 oz through free lined. At a mid lake point I caught a 28" fish and then this one, 38.5". They both hit a 1/4 oz weighted float with about 15' of line below the float, pulled way behind the boat, around 7 am.

Nice fish 2 Oars! Upper 80's and fish hitting shallow bait! I guess they were working bait up on the point.

Things have been a little quiet with reports. Beautiful fish. Haven't fished in over a month - about forgot what a striper looked like

This proves it. It is not the boat that makes the fisherman, but it is the fisherman that makes the boat and you are one heck of a fisherman.
