My wife and I trolled two lures from Water wheel all the way to the bottom of the S curve this morning. We only marked one fish and he was probably a carp disguised as a striper on the fish finder. I know this is a fishing report no one wants to hear, but where are they? I really felt bad for the guides we saw this morning. It was obvious they were trying really hard but it was not going to happen. When the fishing gets this bad what do you tell your customers if you are a guide?
Two days ago we did the tour around the dam area. We dragged two lures for a couple of hours at sunrise. Same thing. We did not mark hardly any fish.
Hope things change real soon.

Or speed up.
Seriously, I often find myself trolling over 5mph in the summer for stripers. It works!
