Meant to post this yesterday. I decided last minute on Saturday to do a little fishing. Didn't get out until 730ish and WT was 79.5* and not sure what the AT was but I remember that it was overcast and threatening rain. I pulled a U-rig for about 40 minutes and marked scattered fish with no takers. Ran over a pretty big school and had no takers on the urig. Pulled the urig out of the water, circled back and dropped a white fluke on top of the school and fish on. 25" fish that went to visit the ice in my cooler. Caught a 27" fish on the next cast and introduced it to the cooler too. Done for the day.

So that would be the same day I was on the lake at sunrise with a beautifull tank of bait...from mongoes to small ales, and everything in between. I had Lund3 onboard, the youngest of the Lunds...and we were ready to have a good day. Overcast, kinda cool...perfect. We fished 3 isle, mouth of gills, G7, Staniford, cliffs, chimney, BR....We fished hard for a long time. Missed 2 on flatline hits...and that was the highlight of the day. That...and getting a text from Gator showing his dinner on ice, heading back to the ramp.
