Started at day break. Motored straight down to rhetoric outside turn just past large trussle. Started throwing the jig. No bumps, taps or pulls. Worked the same bank with spinners, all sizes, shapes and colors with no results.
Motored down towards Mormans with boat docks in mind. Talked to a person that had luck with jerk baits the weekend before. No luck with my offerings around the boat docks.
Motored down to a cove past marker R65. Tried jerky baits, spinner baits, jigs, lizards and creatures with no success. The gentleman that I talked to earlier said that he just released a 3+ pounder that he caught on a crank bait.
Started back on main channel working cranks, jerky and spinners. No luck.
Headed back to ramp and worked the high side between the trussels. Finally caught a 2 pounder, 15.5" on a black, single bladed colorado spinner bait. Bass had an injured lower jaw that is noticeable. You'll recognize it if you catch it.
Went home, peace out...

Thanks for the report, hope to get out there Saturday for a little while. What was the water temp and clarity in the areas you fished?

Water temperature started at 50 and ended at 56. Clarity was great. Nothing like the water at Hales, but, you could see your spinner 3 to 4 feet down.
I'll be back out this Saturday.
Peace out..
