Can someone give me clarification on the creel limit. It says 2 per day in the aggregate COMBINED That looks like no matter how many people in the boat you can only have 2 in the live well.is this correct? New law??

I think that "(combined)" has been there for some time... I believe it is intended to clarify the "aggregate" - in that you might catch hybrid and striper - they both count for the "combined" creel limit.... No hybrid in SML so the net is the reg is 2 striper per person per day max. No running to the dock and dropping off fish and going back out for 2 more. And that does not mean that if you have 4 folks on the boat that 2 can catch 4/ea and 2 not fish... if DGIF observes someone catch & keep more than 2, even if there are 10 folks on the boat and 3 fish in the cooler - if one person put those 3 in the boat and cooler, then they will give them a ticket. Never have quite figured out on some of those guide pics with 7 or 8 fish hanging on the board and 3 customers that were fishing.....

if one person put those 3 in the boat and cooler, then they will give them a ticket. My son doesn't interpret the rule that way..

FishON - I understand - just be aware that if the wrong game warden in the wrong mood saw you it could be a ticket...... We discussed this with the a game warden at a recent Striper Club mtg. My guess is most would give leeway with kids as long as everything else is on the up and up, but some won't.
