Well the wife wasnt happy when I picked up and headed to the lake this morning but it was worth it. Arrived around 9:30, headed DOWN to the dock. Meaning since last time the HOA planted grass. No way to get around it without walking around another building. Decided to tip toe thru the straw almost made it and then slam! Down I went in the mud and on my a**. Not a good sign. Headed up lake to catch bait. Tried a new area that was very muddy but water was shallower. Was able to net about 3 dozen small gizzards & ales. Started to fish the main channel about half way back to the house. I put out 4 DLs over a school just above the trees. Not long after the 4th line hit the water, FISH ON. He managed to grad two other lines but I got it in the boat. I had finally broke 30 with a 32" fish. Nothing else would eat in that hole so drifted down lake picking up one more teenager. WT near 56 Overcast, drizzle, fog Now I gotta go wash my britches!!

Congratulations, nice report. If your like me you will feel it worse later. Didn't feel to bad, except for the embarrassment. BTW: I had just bought that measuring board three weeks ago thinking it was long enough for what I was catching. Anything bigger and I will have to make another purchase.
