With the threat of potential flooding, should people who store their boats in lifts be worried? I keep my boat at Waterwheel Marina and I am worried my boat may get damaged. What are some thoughts from those of you who have been around the lake many years? Thanks for your help.

Thoughts going through many minds right now. Hard to know - in Nov 2009 we had a hurricane / TS dump a lot of rain and the lake went to 797'. Waterwheel has high lifts so that's an advantage as long as you have it up all the way. Those of us with t-tops can't get but so high.
I know several that have out their boats on their trailers just to be safe

I went down today and took mine out. I'm glad I did!

AEP was very proactive with this rain event and got rid of a lot of water this week. The lake should be fine, I will be surprised if the lake gets much over 795. Just watched the local news and they have lowered the rain estimates, now expecting 2-5 inches instead of the original 6-10 inches.
