Had a chance to slip out this afternoon for a few hours. Dumped the boat in at Penhook and headed over to the Scruggs ramp to pick up a couple of friends. Started fishing pretty quick with urigs. Went over a school and immediately picked up 3 fish on 2 urigs. Took forever to untangle the rigs but we managed to get them back in the water. That school didn't go far. I landed one more and called it.
On another note I noticed some trees that were girdled by beavers. It's getting close to trapping season and I am going to run a small trap line this winter for beaver and muskrats. Any info on sign would be appreciated or possible nuisances.

Good report gator. I trapped in my younger years for mink, coons, rats, red and grey fox. What fun I had. Was no yots around back then. Glad you found some fish.
