Water temp: 84 Weather: Overcast Bait : Alewives (One throw and done) Techniques : Boards with 1/4oz weights Place: Mid-lake on Roanoke arm The plan: Get my boy on some fish Well I haven't been fishing since late March so, I figured it might take some time to find a few fish. But that wasn't the case at all. My plan was to start uplake and work back down lake checking spots that have produce this time of year in the past. Well, I drove uplake and got the boat off of plane and bam! There was some fish there. All the fish seem to be holding about 20 feet deep. So, I put out boards with 1/4oz weights and we got our limit pretty fast in our first spot.. I didn't have to drive all over the place like I thought I would... Ty got the one in by himself:
