Any advice on where to launch a yak. Just lost my job so unable to rent a boat this weekend but i do have a nice Jackson kayak. even the unemployed need to fish.

We are staying at bernards and have the kayaks on the car pm me if you dont want to broadcast location.

I fish exclusively from a kayak and catchin em on the lake can be done so rest easy! If possible you could launch right there at bernards amd catch fish but boat traffic during the day especially on the weekends can be super rough. You could launch out of the scruggs ramp and make a mad dash up gills and into some of the coves up that way to avoid some traffic. The state ramp at Oak Grove is also nice and you really dont have to leave the cove to find em most days. Good luck and stay safe
