Havnt been out at night yet. Was wondering if there is any shad spawning yet? I went last week during daylight and found plenty of bass on beds and caught several on a swimbait along the riprap in Becky's creek. I'm ready for the night bite! I'm not looking for anybody spots just wondering if there is any shad activity after dark yet. Thanks guys.

I noticed light alewife spawn activity in the mouth of beckys and bettys this morning before sunrise. A few fish popping them.
After dawn the alewives were working rip rap banks in huge schools, right up shallow. Looked and sounded like they were spawning in the daytime, not sure I've seen that before.

Good deal and thanks for the reply. I'm thinking it's about time to night fish. How did you do? I'm sure it's gonna be more bass move up on beds in the coming week or two. I can catch them off beds but prefer to fish other ways.

went Friday night 6 largemouth and 7 stripers all were caught in coves and after 10:30pm till about 2:00am most on topwater and some on cranckbait 2 to 4 foot deep
