3/19
Started at 0730 above Hales Ford and finished around 1330. Hooked 20 stipers and landed 16, 20"-26". All stripers were taken with a buck tail jig. I kept the boat around 18' and casted to the banks. Most fish were caught half way back to the boat. No busting action with a little gull action. Cloudy, SE winds 5-10 mph, 4' water clarity with water temps 48-50 degrees. Very little boat traffic.
3/20
Started at 0800 and ended at 1430. Fished the same area as 3/19 and hooked 28 stipers and landed 26, 20"-28". Buck tail jigs were again the lure of choice. Fished the same way as 3/19 however, more gull action and caught 15 within a 1' of the top (1000-1045). Not really busting on top, more like swirling with some gulls diving. This lasted for 45 minutes. Cloudy with mist, no wind, water clarity 2'-3' with water temps of 48 degrees. More boat traffic today. Overall two great days of striper fishing on SML!

Awesome report.....
was just telling my bro-n-law about a week ago that we used to catch a lot of fish on bucktails and we never throw them anymore...
