The mesh costs too. The smaller the opening, the more mesh, the higher the price.
I remember paying 150 for an 8 foot cracker 5/8 delivered. I paid 180 for a 10 foot 3/4 Wade delivered.

I already have been using it in 20 feet of water when the gizz are there and I have to be honest, it has hit the bottom of few times. the 1 inch is sweet opens awesome and is so light compared to my 3/4 wade. The best part is it catches the same as the 3.4 and you do not get any young shad gilled up if they are around. a matter a fact, I have never seen anything gilled in my 1 inch since I have used it ----- I ask Tim if I should of do 1.6lbs or .7 for the 1 inch and he said it would probably just make it close faster, The master said NO NEED. Go for it Mward -- I think you will truly find value in it all the way around. Have you guys asked Tim about a similar spec'd net except in a 12ft radius? I have a 11', 1", 1.6 Nice report FishOn. Really enjoy it when the kids get hooked up.

GATOR ----- How is your grab when they are carpeted from 20 to 30 in clear water during daylight? ? I was only able to use my 1 inch on the last trip and it did great during the dark but the daylight throws were fair or nothing in that clear water -- if I could catch them up around 15 in the daylight I would pick of 3 to 7 but the deep throw in clear water during the day was a 1 or 2 or nothing. all my throws were in 30 to 40 feet --

I was only able to use my 1 inch on the last trip and it great during the dark but the daylight throws were hot or nothing in that clear water -- if I could catch them up around 15 in the daylight I would pick of 3 to 7 but the deep throw in clear water during the day was a 1 or 2 or nothing. all my throws were in 30 to 40 feet -- I have only used it for shad in 20-25 fow during the early morning hours right before daylight and had good luck. It sinks like a rock too. I have tried to throw on deeper bait ,30+ fow, and nothing. I don't think it is the net as much as it is me. Have thought about taping my lead line to keep the net fully open when I am throwing in deep water. A friend of mine in FL uses the tape method to catch pogies in 50 fow and that may be the ticket for deep water shad here at SML.
