Penn - are you asking about on SML or Leesville? The small juvinelle gizzards are reasonably shallow and coming onto the lights in SML and I know there were catchable in shallow water on Sat AM as a buddy had to get some when his ales died. It is about time for the large pods of juvenile gizzards to start showing up on the surface all over the lake - I expect they already are based on some of the reports of surface breaks that have been reported.
The big shad are also still coming onto the lights, but can't speak to them in the shallows during the day as my focus has been on alewife over the last month and will be mostly till mid-Sept.

I was directing the Qs to both lakes. Ok, thats what I thought because I've noticed the small and large gizzard had somewhat moved shallow again. Thats why I asked, just double checking.
