Ok, I have multi-color braid that has 4 different colors and every color is in 25ft increments. So this is what I'm wondering about. When I go retie a swivel or something like that, should I cut the whole 25ft increment out that I cut the swivel off, and retie using a whole new increment on my line or what? I hope you all follow what I'm trying to say because i had a hard time trying to figure out how to type this and make sense. Thanks!

The braid I have seen is in 5 foot increments! I don't think the 25 foot would be worth what you have to pay for that stuff! Cutting 5 feet off ain't bad but cutting 25 feet every time you retie your line would disappear quick! With That line I don't think I would pay much attention to the increments! Id use it like plain old non-colored line and keep on fishing!!

Just guesstimate how much is left of the last segment. I know it will be hard to add that up in your head so bring a calulator

I have used it and worked good for me. Prevents having to have a setup just for down lines. Color changes ever 25 feet but there is a black mark every 5.
