It's been quite a while since I landed a citation with the rod in my hands .... we got one on my boat last Dec but our buddy Keith grabbed the rod.... so it was nice to get this one - luck of the EarlyRiser I guess... I thought it was May of 2012, but turns out it was actually May of 2011...... seen a lot of fish in the 35-36" range since then but could not crack a 37" or 20 lbs.... good to break the curse... and hope it's not that long again. Just over 37" / 18 lbs - April 6, 2014 ] And it was cool that this one came while the Game Warden was aboard the boat checking licenses / equipment

Nice job gents. How did the release go? Them fish gorging on all those big shad seem fatter this year to me. Could be a growth breakthrough... Just saying..

Man that some fine fishing right there !!! Great family God Bless & Happy Holidays !! I watch the form all the time !! Havn,t had the finances to come up this year hope to next !! Had a lot of health problams this year also !! But always great to read piost from yal Guys !! Thanks for giving me hope !!
