Anyone ever smoke striper? Im thinking, if fortunate enough in a couple weeks to boat some keepers, to keep a couple for the smoker. Steak em, brine em, and cold smoke em like a big blue fish.

I wondered about that too. It looks like they are real good smoked: www.arkansasstripers.com/smoked-striper-recipes.htmIt appears that you should only smoke previously frozen striper to make sure you've killed all the protozoa/other organisms, and the brine is key.
