I’d say it depends on how hot of a day it is, how long you plan to fish, water temps, and amount of bait you intend to keep and how you condition that bait.
In my opinion, filtration and aeration are much much much more important than insulation.
You can always have a deep pump setup to get water from ~20’ deep. It’ll stay cool enough to catch your limit, even with no insulation.
