I was wondering if anyone has used a floating light at SML to attract shad in the winter time? I have had trouble finding shad the last few weeks and thought of giving it a try. Any suggestions?

Lights draw in alewives better than shad. May be certain times of year they draw in shad good, but you'd be best off just throwing in the daylight hrs for shad, especially with the lake being muddy. Depending on where you set your light out at, you should be able to get some good alewives to use as bait.
