Fished thursday night and saturday and sunday mornings. Spent all day mid lake at my normal bait holes friday.... nothing.... had to go to the trestle, long ride, but managed about 4 dozen dollar bills. Water temp 56.7 (still to warm for my liking) Thursday night.... I love XRaps Friday and Saturday morning. (don't want to say to much with the tournament coming up) Found a couple decent schools stacked up in 40ft of water. To my surprise they weren't flying around.... Did catch 1 on a long lined planner, 1/4 oz weight, but it was all about downlines. Rain and overcast skies helped keep the fish active, as most fish were caught between 9:30 and noon. Man, bait is thick deep. The old adage, find the bait and find the fish holds a lot of truth. Good luck guys, and be safe.

Nope, XR12.... its 3/4 oz. you can cast that thing a mile. You would be shocked at the fish I catch in 30 to 60 ft water and the 12 runs maybe 4ft deep. Calls them up.

Enjoyed the report triple x bigun.
I'm still playing in the woods for a few more weeks before I get back on the water.

Probably better clarify. Not saying the fish are 30-60 ft. deep. Just the water depth. Don't know how deep the fish are, i just know they like xraps. Hope I didn't give my location away with the water temp in my first post. I know you striper savy guys know what the water temp is waaay up lake. Thanks drag!!
