I’ll be in town this extended weekend, and plan on doing some night fishing. I caught one striper 2 weekends ago on a top water about 2’ off some riprap near the S Curves. Are the striped still up near the banks this time of year, and should I try some live bait fishing as well? What are you having the most luck with right about now? Also, locations- down towards the dam up to the s-curves still looking Promising? I don’t get to fish much, so I’m looking to make this trip count, greatly appreciate any advice you can give me! Thanks!

Night fishing on Sat, around the points near Parkway promises to be explosive.
<just kidding>
You probably will not get a ton of feedback beyond the very, very good advice to check out the Seasonal Movements sticky under the How-To sub-forum... I chalk up Summer striper fishing as pretty much dead -- the fishing is typically lackluster; and, notably, 8 out of 10 fish that are actually caught will die in pretty short order after release (even if they swim off fine). Just a bad time of year for stripers...
You thought any about trying to get after the white perch? You'd be fishing at the absolute perfect time, and if you get on some schools you'd wear out your arm and have a blast. There's several really good white perch threads in the Other Species sub-folder (maybe elsewhere too).
Stay safe and have a good 4th!
