Does anyone have an actual real life solution to the plague of rusty hooks on all my lures?
Ive got about 15 boxes of nothing but rusted hooks. They're kept in dry storage in my boat which stays dry. Yet they rust. I replace them and 6 months later, more rust!
Ideas?

Have you tried the Flambeau tackle boxes with the Zerust dividers that claim to help prevent rust - I don’t seem to have issues as long as the tray does not get direct water in it

I keep boxes that contain lures that are not rusty. Once I use a lure, it always goes in another box away from my non rusty lures. I try to keep each used lure in its own section of the rusty box as well. Every so often, I inspect my rusty box and remove and replace any rusty hooks and transfer the non rusty lures to the non rusty box.
I use this same procedure for hooks as well.
This works for me even in salt water. However, in salt water, I just toss hooks at the end of the day or trip. And I often use small plastic bags for lures.

+1 on the Z-rust tabs. They really work. You can buy the tabs separately from TW.

I like the z-rust tabs as well. I switched up several of my tackle try’s over the winter to these and just added some tabs to the ones that didn’t have them. They are working well.

Dessicant pouches also work well, the small ones like the ones they put in shoe boxes with new shoes. They don't take up much space and do a good job of removing moisture.
