For you North Carolina gents who fish for Stripers in coastal NC saltwater.........................
☢COASTAL WATERS ONLY☢!!!
As of Monday March 11th Striped Bass (Rock, Striper, Hybrid, etc) will be closed for a minimum of 2 years for the Central Southern Managment Area (BLUE STRIPED AREA).
👀 BUT As of right now you can still catch and keep Stripers in Inland and Joint waters. Inland waters has a size limit of 26" of two per day and Joint waters has a limit of 18"- 22" and over 27" two per day.
If you have questions of where these boundaries are give us a call and we will tell you or come by the shop. We have printed handouts of the areas waterways which show inland, joint, and coastal boundaries.

Good! the commercial guys have absolutely decimating the stripers down there during the winter! If I had my way, given the state of the entire bio-mass, I would expand that ban all the way out to the 3 mile EEZ and stretch it from SC to ME. Up here the bays are wastelands as far as the migrating fish go. You can catch schoolies around the bridges, but other than that....
