Here are the waters that were stocked and stocking in 2020 with Muskie Fingerlings in Virginia Rural Retreat Hungry Mother North Fork Shenandoah South Fork Shenandoah Mainstem Shenandoah Lake Shenandoah Burke Lake Ragged Mountain Reservoir
"The fish were 7-9" and appeared to be in great shape." per VA Muskie biologist
I would love to see some 2020 SML Muskie pictures ? Heard of a few but they still seem to be a fish of a lifetime on SML in past three years at least. I'm going to continue to troll with heavy leaders just encase.

They’re pretty rare in SML but there’s still a few around for sure. I’ve caught 3 over 40” in my life on SML and all were within 1/4mi of each other. Know of another 5-6 caught within the same area - they don’t move much.

I caught 1 last year it was my first and was 38.5 inches tossed back in it was in November during muzzle loader season.
