Was blessed to have a chance and visit last evening with this sweet girl and her Mom & Dad last evening - RaeRae is the daughter of Debbie and Randy from Team Limit Out, one of our tourney participants and is currently battling Lukemia and is in Day 30 of a stay at Duke Hospital. She was in great spirits last evening and was happy to be able to give Rae Rae and Randy a "Team Rae Rae" hoodie with the "thin red line" logo design in honor of Randy for his service to the community as a fire-fighter over the years.
Rae Rae has a long road ahead as she prepares for another round of chemo in the coming weeks but she's a tough fighter and we know she will beat this. We'll miss Randy next weekend at the Winter Classic but he will be there with us in spirit and look forward to seeing him back in March. Until then, please keep Rae Rae and the Owen family in your thoughts and prayers.
FYI - We are making Team Rae Rae hoodies & shirts available to those interested in purchasing them with $10 of each going to the family to help with expenses related to Rae Rae's stay and treatment. They will have the "crossed hooks" in the logo vs. the SML VA (unless you want the SML VA version). Hoodies will be available in Black (white/ red design) or ash grey (black/red as shown), and long-sleeve shirts in black (white/red design). Hoodies are $35 and long-sleeve shirts are $30 - shipping included. We'll get this added to the website soon, but until then you can message us here.
