I thought striper season went from Jan. 1st to Dec 31st. we had our best day so far this season 3 or 4 wks ago with 31 and had one length citation. Whatcha waitin for? I've already fished 30 days this yr. got skunked a couple but had fun on most trips.

The weather and water temps to warm up some. There are a few resident stripers in the rivers, but they are few and far between right now. Around early to mid March the migrant stripers start showing up around Cape May and the CBBT. It takes them another two to three weeks to move up into my area. Also, my stern-drive doesn't care for sub-freezing temperatures. ;D
