Hey guys we won’t be there for a while but looking for some info on fishing this year last year numbers of bass were down but size was up is this to be expected again this year? We don’t come for almost another 2 weeks but just kind of wanting to know what to expect how’s fishing up river vs black water we are in the center of the lake so access to both sides is no issue. In previous years Carolina rigs with 6 inch green pumpkin zoom Curley tails have been good hits last year it was 10 inch worms in any dark color....... Hope to get some feed back as from year to year this lake can be a good competitor. Also how is Striper population this year can we still expect to hook up with them from time to time at night?

I was down from Thursday to Sunday a few days ago and did pretty well on the largemouth. Caught 3 or 4 one night on topwater right at dusk on points with lots of rock and rip rap. Also caught a few on medium diving cranks around some deeper docks during the afternoon when the sun was high. You should be able to get into some stripers still this time of year, but be careful as they have a hard time surviving when water temps are so high.
